About Balance Matters Kinesiology treatments
1. What is kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a gentle, non-invasive way of working with the body using muscle testing to identify stress, imbalances or sensitivities that may be affecting your physical, emotional or energetic wellbeing.
2. How does kinesiology work?
Through light muscle testing and other techniques, your body gives feedback about areas of stress or imbalance. Once identified, we use gentle corrections to support the body back into balance.
3. What issues can kinesiology help with?
People come for many reasons: stress, low energy, sleep problems, digestive issues, emotional challenges, food sensitivities, or simply a desire for better overall balance and self-awareness.
4. What happens in a session?
A session is relaxed and fully clothed. We talk about what’s going on for you, then use muscle testing and other gentle methods to identify areas needing support. Corrections might include light touch, acupressure, emotional release, or lifestyle suggestions.
5. Is kinesiology safe?
Yes. It’s non-invasive and suitable for all ages. It does not diagnose medical conditions or replace medical care but can be used alongside conventional treatment.
6. How many sessions will I need?
Everyone is different. Some people feel changes after one session, while others benefit from a few sessions to address deeper patterns. We’ll discuss what feels right for you after your first appointment.
7. What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. You remain fully clothed throughout.
8. Do I need to prepare anything before my appointment?
No special preparation is needed — just bring yourself and an open mind. It can help to think about your goals or any issues you’d like to address.
